Six types of business record that AI buyers keep asking for
Buyers word their wish lists in different ways. Compare them and six categories show up again and again, and every one of them records how a real job was done.

What lifts the value
- Range of situations. Surge AI prizes archives covering lots of different scenarios, arguments and hard calls included.
- Workflows that repeat. micro1 looks for clear processes staff perform over and over.
- Headcount, history and tooling. Sunset prices on staff numbers, years trading, volume and how the team used its software. Mercor says each extra connected tool raises the offer.
- Connected records. This is our own inference: when a ticket links to its fix, or a quote links to its job and invoice, the buyer sees a complete piece of work from start to finish.
03
What usually stays out
SimpleClosure refuses to sell sensitive staff or medical records. Polyshares skips anything a company stores for its clients. Return My Time leaves out customer files and privileged documents. Inside the licensed set, personal details are stripped or substituted: Nyne's ads mention client names becoming codes, and Polyshares brings in an outside firm to do the scrubbing.
04
An example business
Take a heating and plumbing contractor with 30 staff. Between its dispatch system, job tickets, quotes, vendor emails and a binder of installation steps, it covers five categories. Code is the only gap, and plenty of buyers have no interest in code.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Is business email in demand?
Yes. It appears on most buyers' lists, and several can link straight to Gmail or Outlook.
Do buyers care about accounting records?
Some do. Nyne names QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite as sources it licenses from, and broker ads list orders and invoices.
How do I make my records worth more?
Broader situations, repeatable workflows, a longer history and more connected systems all help.
Is source code wanted?
By some buyers. Turing's Project Lazarus has a code program with a 50,000-line minimum.
