Language and country: do they affect whether you qualify?

Where buyers state a language requirement, it is mainly-English records, and their calculators ask for the English share. That suggests a sliding scale, so an archive that is partly in Spanish could still be accepted at a reduced price.

Nobody quotes prices for business records in other languages. Our guess (not a public statement from any buyer): once labs have enough English, demand may move to other languages.

Buyers lean towards the US, and plenty only count American employees. The hottest markets are the US, the UK and Canada. A few calculators include Canada and Europe, so non-US firms can still enquire.

• Bilingual records: estimate the split by system, for example email, job notes and tickets by language.
• Offices in two countries: the buyer will probably assess each office's records on their own.
• Several legal entities: say so early, since records split across companies are harder to license as one set.
